Last night at work I had a regular in the bar and we were having a good old chat as you do! Hadn't seen him for a while so we were having the What have you been up to lately conversation!
I was telling him about starting my AFF next month.
He was telling me how he flys planes for work and for a hobby and he mentioned how he had always wanted to learn how to fly a hot air balloon! Which lead me to ask him Why the bloody hell have you not learnt to fly them then? His response did not satisfy me in the slightest. It was something along the lines of I don't know where they teach it or what not...some lame excuse I was not going to take! Ha! Oh poor man! So I preceed to tell him that he should go to one of the places that does hot air balloon flights and hit them up for a lesson or find out how he can go about learning to fly one! He wasn't so convinced! Why not...damn it! He was starting to annoy me by this point ha! He continued to say how he has always wanted to fly one....seriously just do it! He has no excuse not to he already knows how to fly planes, obviously knows a bit about flying balloons, the fact that they use the wind currents etc and that he knows all of this and hasn't done anything about it! I kept on him and told him next time he's in my bar he better be telling me about a amazing hot air balloon adventure or I will not be serving him anymore scotch and dry!
If you are someone that has always wanted to do something whether it be fly a hot air balloon, travel to a certain country, learn a instrument etc etc....Please STOP putting it off and just do it! There is nothing stopping you,
don't use the lack of money as a excuse - give up something you don't want or need to fund it,
don't say you have no time - if you watch T.V you have time!
don't say you're too old - you're never to old
don't make excuses!
Do it now so you won't regret not doing it later!
